They may not be comfortable moving Remmers to the left side because of it. Isn't Rashod Hill going to start?

vike daddy
Jones graded out as one of the Giants' best offensive players overall by Pro Football Focus for his effort against the New York Jets this past Friday in the third preseason game, but he never fit the new offensive direction and scheme on the offensive line due to his size. Jones was a better fit for the 2017 version of the offensive line -- a more finesse blocking line. The 2018 Giants offensive line added size in an effort to incorporate more power-blocking in the run game. The Giants will save and return all $2.9 million of Jones' 2018 salary cap hit after the trade. With the Giants having around just $1 million in salary cap space prior to this transaction, the $2.9 million will go a long way in allowing them to add veteran help at other positions on NFL cutdown day this coming weekend. The Giants have the No. 2 waiver priority for any player released to waivers at the final cutdown. https://247sports.com/nfl/minnesota-vikings/Article/New-York-Giants-trade-Brett-Jones-to-the-Minnesota-Vikings-121057438/
vike daddy
Cornerbacks Mike Hughes, Mackensie Alexander and Marcus Sherels were among the nine Vikings players sidelined during Sunday’s practice. Hughes (undisclosed) and Alexander (ankle) haven’t practiced since the Aug. 18 preseason loss to Jacksonville. Sherels (hamstring) pulled up at the end of Friday’s win against the Seahawks and did not return to the game. http://www.startribune.com/zimmer-doesn-t-expect-elflein-to-start-season-on-pup-list/491752961/

Krauser
Ugh, I was hoping Jones might still develop into the WR4. That's probably the end of his career, he'll be 26 before the draft next year.

vike daddy
Two Minnesota Vikings cornerbacks’ names have been on the trade block according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. Breer wrote: “Among the interesting names I’ve heard discussed: Steelers QB Josh Dobbs, Vikings CBs Marcus Sherels and Mackensie Alexander, Lions RB Ameer Abdullah, Packers WR Trevor Davis and CB Quinten Rollins, Raiders DL Mario Edwards, and Texans WR Braxton Miller. Those are among dozens, of course. And as I said, keep your eye out for something more in-depth before the final cuts.” Breer also name dropped three offensive linemen that could catch the Vikings’ eye as we approach cutdown day: Austin Howard (Colts), Chance Warmack (Eagles) and Hroniss Gras (Bears). http://www.1500espn.com/vikings-2/2018/08/report-vikings-sherels-alexander-discussed-possible-trades/
