This is almost as confusing as the Jets signing both  Bridgewater and resigning McCown to $10M contracts each?

Guess both AZ and NYJ are taking the FQB money and splitting it between 2 QB hoping one pans out?

There’s a sizeable gap between them.  McCown and Glennon are clearly backups that would take over if the starters get injured.  Or they’re super nervous about a rookie QB being second string.

But doesn't this all but eliminate any Drafting of a QB? Only way you can draft a QB in 2018 after signing both Veterans to large contracts is by essentially giving up on/ cutting every other QB on the roster? I speak of course about the Jets in particular since the Cards seemingly don't have a QB on the active roster at the moment?

Weird.  Insurance for the stopgap bandaid QB Bradford?  That seems...like maybe once you're delving into handing a bunch of money to an insurance policy for your initial stopgap solution, you might be going down a particularly dark rabbit hole.  Maybe turn back and reevaluate your direction?

Same weird thing as the Jets, but at least the Jets got a reasonably young guy in Teddy.  This is just...cluttering up your roster with vets who aren't good enough, so far as i can tell.
