However to play devil's advocate, if your scouting truly truly believe that Askarov is the best goalie prospect since Carey Price, and the only hold up is you have to wait 2-3 years until he's in the NHL, then you take him. He might be the last 'franchise level' talent left in the top 10. Not saying I agree (especially when it comes to constructing a team), however I can see that thought process. But, if we're seriously considering it, we better be on the phone with Minnesota for pick #9 and their 2nd or 3rd so they can take Rossi assuming he's there.
