Guess what, I could careless if a QB could play in the air raid, triple option, stack I, spread, and etc. just run the system that fits the QB best. I can't find the tweet sorry about that but if you look it up I want to say Sam took 40 snaps under center to Bakers 49, which isn't a huge differance but I'm just saying it's not like Darnold played a Pro-style offense or anything like that. I can only hope that the combo of Haley and Zampese are enough to grow Mayfield into a starter. I'll count my chickens when I see his first NFL action. Just avoid the Cleveland Clinic, Baker. They should be good to go once the season starts whether they are playing or not. There will be rookie mistakes but that will happen in some fashion under any circumstances. It seems Sam is having a harder time under center then Baker is imo. He also had five fumbles from under center in the first two days of the Jets rookie camp, Including two in a row at one point.
