JaguarCrazy2832
The only one that will sniff that is Barkley. 1200 total yards is more likely to have multiple people involved

Calvert28
Giving my vote to Guice. I just can't see Barkley doing it unless the Giants is totally revamped.
Jakuvious
I selected other in the poll, but really my answer is none. Only 3 players topped 1200 yards last year. Most seasons no rookie hits that mark. 3 guys have in the past 2 years, but prior to that was a 3 year stretch were no rookie topped that many. 1200+ rushing yards is not a very common benchmark these days. 1200+ total yards, sure. But not rushing.

I could see Johnson hit 1000 yards. As for the question, I'll take Saquon Barkley.

Yea Kerryon will lose some carries but given how great he was at Auburn and how him playing through injuries its best for him to share the load for now. HTTRDynasty
I can see it being Guice. That's 75 YPG in 16 games if it takes a full season. Contrary to popular belief, Gruden loves to feed the hot hand rather than going RB by committee. He also loves to run the ball on 1st down - Redskins have ranked 10th in rushing attempts on 1st down in Gruden's 4 years here... they just haven't had any RBs that rewarded their coach for that commitment. Also, there's this: Quote The injuries along the front changed their run game last season. In Weeks 1-8, the Redskins ranked 17th in yards per carry, 23rd in total carries and eighth in yards before contact. After the injuries took a toll, in weeks 9-17, they ranked last in yards before first contact, 24th in attempts and last in yards per carry, according to ESPN Stats & Information. If the line stays relatively healthy, the Redskins now have a RB that will reward them for committing to the run on first down and will reward an OL that ranks in the top 10 in yards before contact. With Saquon, I think it's much more likely he leads rookies in all-purpose yards rather than rushing yards. I just don't think the Giants have the pieces to turn into some run game juggernaut over night.
bucsfan333
I doubt Rojo gets 1,000 all purpose yards, let alone 1,200 yards rushing. Koetter prefers his vets when it comes to RBs. He seems to prefer a good pass blocker over a good runner.
tom cody
Went with Barkley. Think he's going to be a good 1.

Nex_Gen
I see Guice as more of an 800 yard, 8+TD goal line specialist this year. Ronald Jones will probably get 1000 yards TOTAL Penny will run for 34 yards all season behind that offensive line. I think Barkley gets right around 1200. A little over that... Soko
The guys in the poll are the only ones I even see with a shot. Most of the other RBs aren’t even clear cut starters at this point, which I think one needs to be at the start of the season (or at least, very early on) in order to accrue the necessary carries. Easy answer is Barkley. Followed by Guice, although no one’s a guarantee. Don’t think any of the others get there, or close.
mdonnelly21
I actually thought Cadillac Williams got 1,200 his rookie season...? EDIT: Nvm he got 1,178.
