Battle Royale can extend the life of a game significantly as long as it's consistently updated. There will be people whop are unhappy with it, like yourself, but they made the call they thought was best. 10 years ago I loved the campaigns. Cod4, MW2, the first couple Black Ops ones, but I haven't played any of the last few campaigns... I think Ghosts was the last one I played through. Blackout is a ton of fun, I just wish it was easier to swap through gear on the consoles. I wish there was an easier way to pick up a gun off the ground and swap attachments on the gun you're dropping rather than having to drop every attachment on the ground, pick the gun up, and then pick up all the attachments again. I know it will never happen on this game, but I wish we were at the point where we could run a companion app on PC/tablet/phone and have the inventory through there. Instead of the quick menu if they had left D pad cycle health, Up cycle perks, and Right cycle equipment it would be so much easier. I don't even think two of the buttons do anything and right is for emotes which I have yet to see anyone use. They also need to show everything on the screen at once (like PC) when you're looking through packs instead of cycling through the loot. It's clunky but FYI if you open up your inventory and use the free roam to hover over your gun, you can hold Square/X to drop all the attachments on the ground. I feel like its so slow to pick up weapons and you get killed so quickly if someone has the drop on you. Idk, its a huge change from fortnite so maybe ill adjust but I'm not a huge fan right now.
