The Vikings and United both play on Sunday, the ladies I've been seeing are all unavailable, and there is 2XP, so I'm gonna get in a solid 12 hours tomorrow.

jelly

I'm going apple picking in the morning/lunch time, but then I should be playing a good amount the rest of the day.

Recently I've been contemplating on whether or not to buy this game new, used, or wait until holiday pricing.  Have always been a big fan of the campaigns, a little disappointing this edition doesn't have one.  Don't play zombies.  Not a huge fan of battle royales, but I don't hate them.

A little background for me on COD:

COD4 - Came in towards the end of the release, enjoyed it, but only because I played it with friends.

World at War - Meh

MW2 - Loved this game and played the **** out of it.  Went on a 156 game win streak in HC S&D, did everything you could do (titles, camo, etc).

Black Ops - Loved this game as well, MP maps were up tp par with MW2

MW3 - Straight trash homie.  Start of the downfall of COD to me.

Black Ops 2 - Better than MW3, not as good as BO1

Ghosts - Hated it

Advanced Warfare - GTFOH

BO3 - Played it, only because nothing else was out that I liked

Infinite Warfare - Didn't buy it, never played it

WWII - Believed the hype that this was bringing COD back!  I didn't.

So this brings us up to now.  Maybe my expectations are too high, IDK.  Seems like COD has gone the route of Madden, been burned too many times.

The online in this game is very good IMO, but of course not everyone is going to love it. I didn't like WW2 at all, and haven't gotten into one since BO2. I played a fair amount of Ghosts, but only because I was riding the high of BO2 and had a lot of free time.

You might be surprised with the Battle Royale, it's really fun.

Best advice I can give is watch someone play it on twitch and see if that helps make a decision.

My impressions of each game are almost exactly the same as yours, only thing really different is that I really liked BO3.  I think you'll really like this game.  It reminds me a lot of the old black ops games, but with the specialists of BO3, and no jet packs.  The maps are nice and since you said you loved BO1 maps, they've brought 4 or 5 of them back to this game.  Summit, Firing Range, Slums, and Jungle (think they'll bring Nuketown as well too).

I never played campaign really so them leaving that out isn't a negative to me.  Zombies is apparently amazing even though I don't typically play it much.

The BR is really freaking good.

In short, get the game.

I feel like both of our impressions of the games are the same as he listed, and is the same for most of the community that actually played all the way back to cod4. I had way more play time on cod4, MW2 and BO1. Probably as much individually as all the others put together. I still think some of the specialists in this game are annoying (Seraph, the ground slam one, dogs) and I way more appreciate the tactical ones (Microwave shield, vision pulse). I just don't like the "free kills" specialists really, but I get their purpose.

@carrolljcmc, this is the first cod game I have actually been excited to go home to play since BO2. You don't have to get it now, or wait, but I think you'll probably enjoy it either way

Black Market (no lootboxes) coming today for PS4.  PC/Xbox has to wait a week which blows.

Sounds kind of like a Fortnite Battle Pass where you earn rewards as you level up.  It'll also have an item shop like fortnite where you can buy items directly.
