People said the Dolphins were unimpressive all 2016 as well.

Yeah! Who could forget that immortal, all-time 2016 Dolphins team! Ha, what idiots those people were!

*On the next 30 for 30....what if I told you...a legendary football team...was frequently called...unimpressive?*

They went 10-6 and made the playoffs. I didn't say they were super impressive, but they always found ways to win. Even last year they statistically should have been a 1-15 team and they still won 6 games somehow. Gase just finds ways to win.

So hostile lol.

I think we'd all agree that the rule was put in place so we didn't have a repeat of the Anthony Barr/Aaron Rodgers situation.  IF Clay makes that tackle on any other player that isn't the QB, we're talking about how he made a great fundamental tackle.  But since it's discussing the QB, it's considered "excessive" despite the fact that it was a fundamentally sound tackle.  That's the issue.  You're taking what is a fundamentally sound tackle and telling the defender that he can't do that.  That's my issue with it.  And to make matters worse, the body slam by Jonathan Allen (I believe?) wasn't called despite that being about 10x more egregious.  That's why the NFL is a joke until they show some consistency with this call.

Agreed.

Well, your comment was basically, "Yeah, but it's a new rule and they called it correctly", which I'm still not entirely convinced of but let's set that aside. Let's say it was called correctly.

Huh? All of my comments were about how it's a fundamentally stupid rule, which--to make things even better-- is also called inconsistently, and Matthews has been screwed two weeks in a row...

Packers are frauds. You can't be a real threat when your coach is a liability.

Who think they're great at this point? The entire team is a liability outside of Rodgers. And plenty of teams have won Super Bowls is liabilities at head coach.
