Roughing rule.

With last year's catch rule problem, at least we knew it would be addressed in the offseason to make things more clear, if not necessarily better.

Football fans know not to expect any roll-backs with regards to roughing the passer.

Roughing. The catch rule was a combination of a few tough calls and the media fanning the flames. The logic behind it made sense from a football context even if there were a few instances that weren't a great fit for the rule.

The roughing rules are essentially asking a unit on the field to not do the thing that has been their primary job since the advent of the passing game.

The call on Bennett this week should get that ref fired.

He hit Cousins in the butt as Bennett was being shoved to the ground by a lineman.

He gently wrapped his arms around Cousins' legs and softly tucked him over himself and eased him to the ground.

He used his own body as a pillow for the QB.

15 yards!
