Danger
I ain't in the mood for no long intro post. You know what it is.
Soko
Roughing rules. I feel the catching rule was relatively straight forward.
cddolphin
Roughing rule. With last year's catch rule problem, at least we knew it would be addressed in the offseason to make things more clear, if not necessarily better. Football fans know not to expect any roll-backs with regards to roughing the passer.
lancerman
Roughing. The catch rule was a combination of a few tough calls and the media fanning the flames. The logic behind it made sense from a football context even if there were a few instances that weren't a great fit for the rule. The roughing rules are essentially asking a unit on the field to not do the thing that has been their primary job since the advent of the passing game. AFlaccoSeagulls
Roughing 100%. It makes sacking the QB almost impossible in certain situations.
vikesfan89
Roughing. It's a lot more common
Blackstar12
Roughing rule though they did tone in down since the first few weeks of the season.
wackywabbit
I never really had too much of a problem with the old catch rule to be honest. Bodyweight on a quarterback rule is ridiculous when "correctly" enforced as it is written.
SWATcha
I think we need Clay Matthews to weigh in on this one..... Roughing the window. Roughing the water. Roughing the cabbage.
rich homie
As other posters have said, I had no problem with the previous catch rules. It feels a lot like it was really outrage from casual fans more than anything.
SkippyX
The call on Bennett this week should get that ref fired. He hit Cousins in the butt as Bennett was being shoved to the ground by a lineman. He gently wrapped his arms around Cousins' legs and softly tucked him over himself and eased him to the ground. He used his own body as a pillow for the QB. 15 yards!
