It wasn't "thrown at the ground" but it wasn't really all that catchable.  Where Rodgers placed that ball, MVS would have had to come back through the DB to get it.  Legitimately, he puts a little more lift on that ball even if it's slightly out of MVS' reach and they get that DPI call.

If the receiver did come back through the DB to fight for the ball, the DB probably gets called regardless of whether or not it was catchable. Then leverage and momentum worked against him and the DB just rode him out of contention

We see DPI thrown on balls much less catchable than that one.

It kinda is. If it is up or even hits corner in helmet. Its an easy flag. He threw it at the corners ankles. That crap wasnt catchable. It's a good no call.

Not arguing that it was a perfect throw.  But for DPI, it was definitely catchable.

Rodgers has been kind of bad tonight. Glad to see Ronald Blair breaking out.

We have wanted to see more of Blair for quite some time. It never makes sense how they kept pushing him down to the bottom of the rotation. He's not been that ineffective as a pass rusher - the snaps are just crazy limited. He's not a 10 sack guy or anything, but there's certainly talent there.
