I don't think I've ever read something on this forum that I disagree with more.

So luke goes from having faith, and being able to turn the most baddest person in the galaxy to the light side. But gets worried about a 8 year old and decides to kill him? Nothing suggests that's how his characters would go.

Well when you lie completely and irrevocably about his character in TLJ, sure, it's off, but I'm not gonna hijack this thread, so I won't say that.

the movie subverts your expectations, so its good. Kind of like this short film by Rian Johnson

Transformers (2007)

Completely agree. That first one was everything a summer blockbuster should be.

I pretty much agree with all of the ones that @Outpost31 posted, at least that I've seen, Waterworld was the first movie that came to mind when I opened the thread. I liked TLJ too but not necessarily for the reasons listed. I didn't realize people disliked like Mystery Men and Small Soldiers. Those people are bad people.

People didn't like this?

It's a summer action/popcorn/buddy cop flick, so of course it's gonna have its share of haters just like Pain and Gain. It averages somewhere in the 6s in user scores on all the movie review sites (IMDb/Rotten Tomatoes/MetaCritic).

To that end, you could maybe include the F&F movies as well, though 5-onwards tends to lean more positive than negative (mixed-to-positive).

Me personally? I really liked BBII for what it is and I can't wait for the 3rd movie that's LONG overdue. I also like the newer F&F movies even if some don't. They're hella flawed, but still fun movies at the end of the day.

Oh, and now that I mention it, I thought I'd add G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. By no means is it a technically "good" movie, but at least it entertained me, unlike the sequel.

Define unpopular though. Alot of these movies were blockbusters, some may have failed expectations but others went on to be massive success like Ace Ventura for example. No one really saw that one coming.

I dunno about that.  Anyone who watched In Living Color every week knew Jim Carrey was going to be a superstar.
