lancerman
Now that the teams are matched with 3 Super Bowls a piece, what Decade was New England's dynasty superior in. 2000’s: 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, 4 Super Bowl appearances, 5 AFCCG’s. 16-0 season. Longest consecutive win streak. 2010’s: 3 Super Bowls in 5 years. 5 Super Bowl appearances. 8 consecutive AFCCG’s. Broke the record for most wins by a team within a decade with a year to go. August4th
this is tough for me I think the 00 pats were better, but the numbers say the 2010 teams. I think the the competition in the AFC was tougher back then, so I'm more impressed with what the pats did during that era.
Calvert28
Here's a better question would you call these 2 decades 2 dyanasties or just one continuous dynasty. I'm leaning with the latter. As for the topic itself. I would say their about even.

Also because they were still going to Super Bowls and AFCCG’s in between it’s not like there was a break
SBLIII
There isn't a single Patriots team from 2010- now that was worse than 2000, 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2009. 2010 14-2 should have at least reached the AFC title game 2011 lost in SB 2012 lost in AFCCG 2013 lost in AFCCG 2014 won SB 2015 lost in AFCCG 2016 won SB 2017 lost in SB 2018 won SB 2000 was bad, 2002 and 2005 were average. 2008 and 2009 were above average but still worse. BayRaider
The 2003, 2004 Patriots were pure dominance. Didn’t they win 21 in a row or something? I’d say 2004 Patriots 2003 Patriots 2014/2016 Patriots tie 2018 Patriots 2001 Patriots
Danger
Going with 2010's. Feel they had better sustained success even though there was more in a shorter time in the 2000's. Just felt like they were everpresent throughout this entire decade whereas after Super Bowl XXXIX they weren't as prominent again until 2011. If they'd sealed the deal in 2017, I'd give 2000's the nod. They just feel more dominant in this decade than the last.
patriotsheatyan
The 2010s Patriots have better numbers, but I feel like the 00 Patriots had tougher competition in the post season without any actual evidence to back that up.
King Joffrey
2000s had the better Super Bowl winning teams, barely. 2010s had the better teams over the course of the decade, easily

I think most would agree the Steelers and Colts of the 2000s were their best competition. Both those teams were good enough to win an SB. It does sort of feel like they win the AFC lately by default or lack of consistency by their competition. Broncos were a good matchup for a few years, hopefully the Chiefs can improve upon last year and give them a challenge.

BleedTheClock
2000's team was so damn gritty. So are these guys, but the 2000's Pats with Bruschi, Seymour, McGinest, Law, Harrison....they were loaded with tough dudes that just smacked you on defense. Plus they had the insanity that is Tom Brady in his prime. Freaking Randy Moss in '07...the 2000's Patriots were far and away more talented when the NFL had more great teams. BullsandBroncos
Going with the 2000s. Just far more impressive and well rounded to me against better teams.
