Some of that is a signing bonus. Figure an $8M signing bonus, which gets prorated over the 4 years. So you're probably looking at a Y1 cap hit of $5M. That's his entire signing bonus + base salary. So let's say he got 8m bonus, that makes his year 1 cap hit 5m because you can prorate the bonuses.
