So anyone think that Kyle is going to cook up some crazy plays and have Hurd coming out the backfield then line up at TE the next play?

Not if Hurd isn't on the field lol

Not if he's a redshirt..

Absolutely horrible if that's the case.

The thing with Hurd is he's very unique. For a tall guy, he has such short, choppy strides and quick feet. How many 6'4 WRs line up at RB in a single-back set and run the ball between the OGs?? And his route-running is very Pettis-like. He still needs some refinement and work but he is like a RB with the ball in his hands....something you rarely see in a guy that long.

The plays at 0:48 and 1:50 are why this is a great pick if he can stay healthy. That's an exact important piece we were missing.

I could see this to a degree. I wouldn't necessarily turn him into a true H-Back and make him add weight but he could be used in a myriad of ways, especially in the backfield being a former RB.

Good call @J-ALL-DAY

For a TE obviously he would have solid speed, just not on the outside. This offense is going to have a lot of quick hitters giving the receivers/backs chances to make plays after the catch. Then have a good mix of speed with Kittle/Goodwin. Jimmy G please stay healthy and light it up next season.

Again, love the player. But if the Medicals are as bad as they sound...really not sure why we wouldn't wait.

This pick went from a C+ to a hard D fo rme depending on what the medicals are.

Okay, so we didn't double dip. Good news for the bottom of our receivers chart lol

Meh, I just think its risky making a guy with injury history, gain weight and play more inline. Leave him@WR and let him ball. Our track record switching guys from their more natural position hasn't been great...

We haven't really done that on offense other than moving McGlinchey to RT, which doesn't really count as the same thing. Unless I'm not thinking of someone.
