We literally spent the first half of the offseason talking about how the Lakers' assets were trash.  Amazing how things have changed.

The Lakers gave up 2 players that are better than SGA, another young shooter, and 3 first round picks (which turned into Hayes/NWA) and 2 more future picks. SGA is good but I’d take Lonzo over him for sure.

Hayward destroyed his ankle and was never the same. You can't predict that. Tatum and Brown proved they're bums but Sabonis just "doesnt fit with Turner", do I need to spell out how hypocritical your basketball takes are right now? You think maybe Brown and Tatum just didn't fit with the plethora of scoring options the Celtics had?

You’re not even a Celtics fan bro. Stop it.

PG probably felt like he may have made a mistake resigning. Kawhi wasn’t the only reason he wanted out. OKC made a great trade.

Pacers trade at the time didn’t look so great but it turned out great. This time two years ago it was a solid bench big and a solid but way over paid SG for PG. don’t think many people felt dipo would be who he became.

This dude is coming off of an MVP/DPOY level season and they got an okay young player and 4 future role players for him.

They’ll never replace him. They never replaced Ibaka, Harden, KD and Reggie Jackson.. But somehow theyre going to replace PG? Ok.. Ok.. In the draft btw not thru trades or FA. Come

on man.. Presti hasn’t hit a jackpot in a hot min.

Not Bums Bro. But clearly not the assets that’s Ainge held on for players like Ad, George and others.. They’re not franchise players. That’s what I meant by bums.

Again.  We literally spent the first half of the offseason trashing the Lakers assets.

Disagree Lonzo is cheeks and brings his toxic dad with him.

SGA and future late 1st round draft assets is all they could get for PG? That’s terrible in comparison to what the Pelicans just got for AD.

They got SGA, Danilo, and like 5 or 6 1sts for PG13. You have no idea where those picks will be.

It's pretty comparable to the AD trade.

We need to start a "Bro's Thread" cause it seems we've got quite a few bros around here. Everybody's a bro.

Pelicans got more proven young assets than the Clippers.  I'd argue Ingram/Hart >>> Galinari in terms of trade value, but SGA > Lonzo.  And the Clippers gave up significantly more draft picks.

Lonzo is like a young Rubio with more defensive versatility and you were just hyping Rubio up the other day...

I’m a Rubio homer I remember watching those USA games at 3/4 am for him.. Damm with the NBA back in action im deff going to catch a grip of games.. The Warriors made me not watch for 4 years bro.

And Lonzo stupid shot limits him.. and Rubio never developed a shot either. It’s a sign for concern. History loved repeating itself.
