The Bears/Packers have a rivalry that has gone back for a lonnnnggg time. I'm really looking forward to this game - and this is coming from a Vikings fan. Not only that, but why not have someone else open the season? The Patriots have been the ones to close the season most of the time lately. PFM18
Agree with the fact that we don't need to have the Champions opening the season. Just a game with two good teams is fine . Even better that we're kicking off this season with the oldest rivalry in the NFL, in it's 100th season. Bears will probably be most people's favourites to win but the Packers at Lambeau, man it'll be a close one. When you have A-Rod under center, you always have a chance and just feel that the energy in Lambeau will carry them over the line to victory on opening night. Just can't wait for it to kick off. The NFL offseason/preseason is way too long. Finally we get back to regular season football.

Bears will be too strong at home for the Pack. Have no idea why I thought it was in Green Bay. Cheers for that @Nex_Gen.

Its also a match-up of the 2 teams who have won the most NFL Titles in the 100 year history of the league That's another part of why these teams were chosen Packers with 13 NFL Championships bears with 9 NFL Championships

The offensive line is decent, but that will be a flush against the Bears' defensive front. The only worthy players are Rodgers, Adams and Aaron Jones. The entire defense is going through a rebuild. They have a chance to finish last in the NFC North this year. I see the Bears running away with this one honestly .. Kenny Clark is one of the best D tackles in football, Bahktiari is the best LT in the NFL, Blake Martinez is a really good ILB, Jaire Alexander was neck and neck with Ward as the best rookie CB, we completely revamped the defense in free agency and the draft. The Packers are easily somewhere in the 8-12 range of the league in roster talent, and that's probably one of the highest rankings it's been in the recent Rodgers era.
