We're really not going to get a decent MNF match up until like week 11. Jesus

Week 4 Sept. 30 Bengals at Steelers
Week 5 Oct. 7 Browns at 49ers
Week 6 Oct. 14 Lions at Packers
Week 7 Oct. 21 Patriots at Jets
Week 8 Oct. 28 Dolphins at Steelers
Week 9 Nov. 4 Cowboys at Giants
Week 10 Nov. 11 Seahawks at 49ers
Week 11 Nov. 18 Chiefs at Chargers

I actually peaked at the MNF schedule a couple weeks ago and yikes, MNF is really really bad this year.

I  think Week 5 Browns/Niners should be a really good game actually.

You're wrong. He had one of the highest deep pass attempts in the league and connected with plenty

When Mitch Trubisky throws within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage he is 237-288 and 82% completion rate. He had ten touchdowns and one interception along with 6.1 yards per attempt.

From 10-20 yards he completed 54% of his passes on 87 attempts. He had five touchdowns and five interceptions to go with 7.6 yards per attempt.

When attacking the deep field, he hit 38% of his passes on 82 attempts. However, these went for 12.2 yards per attempt, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions.

A lot of Trubisky’s best deep plays from last season happened when he had open windows--he was 17/24 (71% accuracy). This is likely the Matt Nagy effect, generating space around receivers to give Trubisky room to work. When that room isn’t there, Trubisky plummets to a 30% accuracy rating (12/40, or 23rd in the NFL). This discrepancy goes a long way to explaining the Air Yards Differential found by NextGen Stats. Trubisky ranked 30th of 39 qualifying quarterbacks for the difference between his completed air yards and his intended air yards.  https://www.windycitygridiron.com/2019/8/10/20765781/nfl-chicago-bears-windy-city-gridiron-fact-check-trubisky-and-the-deep-ball-matt-nagy-accuracy

He was good when he had wide open guys to throw to.

what are you talking about? niners/browns, lions/packers should both be good.

If you're flexible on you definition of "good."  I'd stan the Niners/Hawks game before I'd take up for Browns/Niners.

Edit: To be fair, Jimmy may not live till the Niners/Hawks game because Myles Garrett matched up against "not Joe Staley" is a recipe for a Broken Jimmy.

Yeah, I mean, it depends on how entertaining people find schadenfreude.  We could be some Benny Hill music away from some stellar Sports Blooper reels in some of these Monday Nighters.
