Watching him close out a game is hard to watch. didn't mcvay do this? hire a game management guy to inform him on clock stuff etc?

That’s just cause he’s to busy reading the defense for Goff

Chiefs actually had Brad Childress on staff just for that reason. And other various duties.

He deserves as much credit for Pat Mahomes' success as anyone else not named Pat Mahomes. He identified, and I believe pushed for the drafting of, Mahomes, and then has built an amazing offense around him, which combined with Mahomes talents, has translated to all time great offenses. If the offense ever starts falling off, then maybe you start thinking about Reid, because you sure as hell aren't going to be moving on from Mahomes. This is the best answer. Reid is there until they're no longer the offensive powerhouse they've been. I'd say 1 or 2 years of underwhelming production from Mahomes and the offense in general, should put him in the hot seat. blizofoz45
The superbowl doesn't always represent the NFL's two best teams. Considering the very average QBs Andy Reid's had to work with in the past, I think the best thing to do is just sit back and enjoy what he's doing right now. SBLIII
Brady went 10 years without a SB. Please. You don't fire Reid if the ball doesn't bounce their way. Best thing you can do is be in the discussion each year and hope for the best.
tom cody
I think he'll get a few yrs. yet. Could be Reid's job as long as he wants it.
Art_Vandalay
If the offense puts up a dud at any point in the postseason, get rid of him.
Heinz D.
I think their time together is already up. The Chiefs should fire Reid and trade Mahomes to some team in the CFL. 😁

Getting rid of him would be dangerous and a likely downgrade.
