I’m talking about Hunter not vans. He’s cool just wild every now and then. Like when he called Myles Garret the most talented defender ever. Head scratchers bro.

I'm shocked nobody ventured into Josh Dobbs territory...

2009 was Rodgers second year as a starter.  In Brady's second year he didn't even make it to the playoffs.

2014 was the infamous Seahawks game in the NFC Championship game when Rodgers had the Seahawks down 19-7 with 5 minutes left only to see his special teams cost him that game with the Seahawks famous onside kick recovery.

2012 they lost to the 49ers after Kaepernick ran all over that Packers defense for an NFL record rushing yards by a QB.

If only Rodgers had a chance to score only 13 points to win a Super Bowl as his defense holds a high powered offense like the Rams to 3 points (as happened this previous season in the Super Bowl).

Whether you like it or not Tom Brady has been the beneficiary of more help them Rodgers over the course of his career.  And FYI 6-8 points over the course of a NFL season can mean 1-2 more wins.  Which could mean the difference between homefield during the playoffs or playing on the road.  So please don't downplay how critical those points can be in the NFL.

Brady won in his 1st year as a starter so that point is pointless.

  • Rodgers was also a 5 year pro at that point with 1136 career attempts. What a joke to pretend he was too young to possibly win a Super Bowl.  Poor Baby!

2014 was the infamous Rodgers sucked game so the Packers only had 19 instead of 27 or more.

  • Yes it got crazy but they had less cushion to deal with the crazy because A-A-Ron brought his D-game.

2012 is fine, but he sucked badly in 2013 at home against the same team when Kaep only put up 23 points.

  • Kaep 2 - Rodgers 0 ... sounds like a real legend to me. How dare we expect him to score 24 at home in a playoff game?

Way to complain about 1 of Brady's 9 Super Bowls... you really won over some opinions with that bit of straw man.

Whether you like it or not Aaron Rodgers has been the beneficiary of good teams and he has fallen on his face every time except that Warner shootout.

This includes the 2010 NFCCG where he led his team to 14 points on an 84 yard drive and a 44 yard drive and did nothing else all day.

  • BJ Raji scored on DEFENSE and the DEFENSE held the Bears to 14 and the DEFENSE got 3 interceptions.
    • By your own accounting Aaron Rodgers has won nothing because his D carried him to the Super Bowl.

This is fun! xD

The 2011 Packers were a great team with a very good defense. They were a Super Bowl level team.

Here is why they were 19th in points allowed:

  • They rested Woodson, Matthews, and others in week 17 and gave up 41 points because of it.
    • If you treat their first 15 games as the real team (21.2 points per game) then they were 13th in points allowed, 11 points behind Philly at 10.
  • A defense that has to defend that many possessions when the offense scores 560 points will give up more than a D with a grind it out ball-control offense.
  • They were also tied for the league lead in turnovers created at 38

Rodgers was terrible in that playoff game.

  • He turned the ball over 3 times a fumble, a pick, and on downs
  • He failed to run out the clock or move the ball before the half, leading to a Giants TD
  • He failed to score TDs and settled for a pair of red zone FGs.
  • This was with a 15 win team at home against a 9 win team.

He gets a playoff F for the best team he ever had

LOL.  You mean the Super Bowl where he passed for 145 yards for the ENTIRE GAME.  Stop it.  Brady was a game manager then.  Any decent QB could have done what he did that game.  Those early Patriots teams were driven by that dominant defense.

and yet Belichick started with Patriots HOFer Drew Bledsoe 5-13.

By yardage metric maybe, but they ranked much better in points given up, and number 2 in the league in takeaways.

#30 in DVOA defense

#21 in points against per drive

They kept their heads above water because of the offense. They were horrible.

#3 in takeaways.  Takeaways make up for a lot.

The 2011 defense wasn’t great, but it was not horrible.  A horrible defense has no redeeming qualities, and gives up a lot more points than that.

It typically takes a new coach a year to establish his culture on a new team.  Look at Nick Saban with Alabama.  That first year record means little.

And why are you conviently ignoring the fact Drew Bledsoe led the Patriots to a win in the AFC Championship Game against the heavily favored Pittsburgh Steelers after Brady went down with injury.

and it wasn't going to be better in 2001. 0-2 start to the season with a horrible offense.

Patriots started 1-2 last year.  Slow starts are normal for Belichick.

With that said, why you ignoring my point on Drew Bledsoe coming in for an injured Brady and winning the AFC Championship Game at Pittsburgh?  That shows Belichick could have won with Bledsoe that year if he stayed healthy.

You do realize Bledsoe was a good quarterback that took us to the SB before Belichick, right?

What about in Super Bowl 38 when he was MVP and there were Panthers players saying "it ain't over yet...not with that quarterback."
