I think having a familiar target for Burrow would be awesome If we trade Green, then yeah, I won't complain too much. I think this team has soo many holes that we can't create new ones unless we can get a good haul for AJG. We need to re-sign Dennard asap... Anti RB and TE makes sense, but I have no problem taking a WR if he's the best player available. That goes for any of the following: IOL, OT, LB, WR. Lucky for us this draft class is loaded at OL, so there's a very good chance the BPA is OL.

He can easily go top 15. Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama - Another guy that will probably go in the first round, but every year a few of these guys drop to early 2nd round. Instant upgrade over Hart. Creed Humphrey, iOL, Oklahoma - Billy Price is a train wreck, need to upgrade the inside of the OL where I only trust Hopkins currently. Marvin Wilson, DL, Florida State - Stud interior defensive tackle. Like CJ Henderson, you get a stud player dropping to 2.1, take em. Geno just isn't what he used to be and could use some assistance. Marvin Wilson is a tough player to block one-on-one. Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama - Great range and speed at a dire position of need. Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma - Similar to Moses, he's not as athletic but has a great motor. Troy Dye, LB, Oregon - In mock drafts, he's going in the 3rd round but I can see him rising to a 2nd round prospect. Physical LB that is always making plays when I watch Oregon games. Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville - Just a massive OT that is sheer power, he has good feet for his size as well. With the recent success of Orlando Brown at RT for the Ravens, I think we should fully evaluate what he can do. Check out David Woodard, LB, Utah State. He can probably be added to the list of round 2/3 targets.

Beck Bristow
I think I could be talked into Jefferson at the top of round 2.

TheVillain112
While I've been impressed with Fred Johnson thus far, he might be able to move to RG. Would potentially make a starting OL of: LT: Jonah Williams LG: Michael Jordan C: Trey Hopkins RG: Fred Johnson RT: Mekhi Becton Also, Shawn Williams needs to be replaced... I thought Williams was the cut to make instead of Iloka. Fej is a better safety than him. That draft would be fine. I'd like to hit linebacker sooner as it's been a bad spot for years, but hard to argue against the players that you took. I'd like to sign a veteran for guard or tackle. Give Jordan same time to develop and have a good veteran (ie not Cordy) to set the tone in the room for all the young lineman. I'm talking about Whit, I want to sign him.

I'm all for bringing Whit back. Jonah + Whit in the locker room would be outstanding. Also, our depth ends up being John Miller, Whit, and Bobby Hart. While Hart isn't a starter, he has shown he can be an OK backup at RT...
sparky151
I'd like to see us hire Bill Callahan as the new O-line coach. Then trade our malcontent Cordy for Washington's Trent Williams. And also sign Brandon Scherff in free agency. A line of T Williams - Jordan - Hopkins - Scherff - J Williams would be legit and give Burrow a chance. SmittyBacall
I'm curious as to why a few of you think John Miller needs to be replaced at RG as opposed to Jordan at LG. Miller has easily been our steadiest guard this year. I get that Jordan at least has some theoretical upside because he's young, but he's been downright bad so far. In order of strongest to weakest on the line I'd say: 1. LT (Jonah) 2. C (Hopkins) T3. RG (Miller) T3. RT (Hart) 5. LG (Jordan)

sparky151
Uh, you do know that Callahan is being replaced in DC and his son works for the Bengals, don't you? The Bengals are likely to move too slowly but it shouldn't be hard to get Bill to come here and work with Brian. And maybe recruit one or two of his former players.
