SirA1
Seoul Dragons Offense Balanced attack. We plan to come out with a balanced attack in this one, using the running game to open up some passing lanes. We’ll run mainly on the Ogunjobi-Garrett side as they’re the weakest links of this DL in terms of run defense. Target Devin White. Whoever Devin White is in coverage we will target relentlessly. If IC runs mainly a zone coverage scheme, we will try to have Kelce run routes his way. Use Tyrell Williams. We expect to see Peterson matched up with Tyrell and it’s not a matchup we will shy away from if we have him in individual man coverage X Factor – Pass protection.Did you know Ronnie Stanley limited Garrett to one pressure week 4? That Russell Okung shut down Khalil Mack last week until he came out of the field with a calf injury? Defense 4-2-5 Defense. We will stay in that 4-2-5 defense even in 4 wide sets. When Sherman is in the field, Shaq plays in the box. When he’s off for Robby Anderson, Shaq lines up outside the box face to the other slot receiver of IC. Prevent the deep ball.We will run a cover 3 pretty much all game to defend the deep field vs speedy receivers and not put pressure on our CBs, especially if Wallace is out. Stop the run.Cover 3 allows us to put an extra LB on the field and have a safety in the box to help stop Chubb who is the main threat of that IC offense. We will also apply heavy rotation inside and outside to keep our guys fresh. X Factor –Pass rush. We line up Ingram and Jarrett on the right side to take advantage of the weaker left side of IC OL Ivory Coast Black Rhinos Gameplan: OffensePrimary Formation: 4 Wide "10" Personnel- We're continue to spread the field this week with 4 wide receivers and a single back as the primary set. We'll split time for Danny Dimes between being under center and out of shotgun. We'll mix it up at times, short yardage bringing in Sherman, but overall, we want to test the Seoul secondary. Running Game Focus- Feed Chubb the ball. We want to give him at least 25 touches this game, primarily as a rusher. We'll use zone blocking primarily, working on double teams to create the holes inside. We'll also use some counters and pulls to keep the defense honest, and we'll throw in some jet sweeps as well as jet sweep fakes against the defense. Passing Game Focus- We want to spread the field out and let Danny Dimes make his reads and find the open man. We'll leverage trips sets at times, to defeat man coverage, and flood route concepts to exploit zones. We will use motion to assist Danny Dimes in determining if there will be man or zone. We'll usually send one player deep, sometimes two, in order to keep the secondary away from the line of scrimmage for the running game, and also to take some deep shots. X-Factor on Offense: Belief in Danny Dimes- We all believe in him after his performance last week, and overall what we feel we've seen from him in another reality outside of BDL. Everyone in the locker room and all the way up to the ownership believes we will win this game. This is 100% believed by all the players and we will wreck Seoul. In fact, you'd have to be completely biased against us to say we wouldn't win this game. DefenseDefensive Formation: 4-3 Defense- We'll kick this game off in base defense as long as Seoul brings out just 2 starting receivers. If we need to shift to a 4-2-5 nickel, Okereke will come off and Malcolm Butler will come in, if they spread it out further we'll bring in Brandon Carr and take White off. Secondary Coverage: Press Man, Cover 1- We're going to man up on their wide receivers and press coverage as much as possible. If any of their WRs start to build a rapport with Murray in the game, we'll stick Patrick Peterson on them and see if that continues. We'll alternate whether Thomas or McCourty will be the deep man to prevent big plays. The other safety and Lavonte David will be responsible for covering their tight ends. In our base defense, Okereke will follow the running back, and White will be in a middle zone / spy on Murray. Defensive Box- We want our interior linemen to play one gap responsibility and penetrate as much as possible, to disrupt both the run and the pass. Mack and Garrett will have edge contain, to ensure runs don't get outside and to keep Murray within the pocket, where he typically goes down with little physical effort from defensive players contacting him. X-Factor on Defense: Keeping Kyler Contained- We feel we can win this game as long as we limit Kyler to being one dimensional and not allowing him to run around at all. We've got the secondary to match up with him, and speed at linebacker to keep his tight ends in check. bcb1213
Think Seoul gets enough pressure from the left side and has just enough success running to win a close defensive struggle 9-
MD4L
I went with Kyler Murray but this game is close. Nick Chubb is basically matchup proof against a league average defense. The one area of success that can change the game is Danny Dimes making some mistakes and short fields for Seoul. Although the home team posses a viable pass rush, I can see Murray eventually making things work with his ability slow down pass rushers due to his uptempo scrambling. Thats probably the two biggest areas that determine the game for me.
Scoundrel
Give me IC. That defense is going to terrorize Kyler. And Danny Dimes struggles but Chubb carries him and he has better receivers here than he does on the Giants. Dennis Kelly might be better than Solder in reality also...man if IC gets Trent Williams going and can get another top receiving target as well as a solid LG I think they will be tough next year. PR
Seoul's edge rush is struggling even though ICBRs OTs are turnstiles this season. I think ICBRs plan to go four wide would struggle against teams with a prominent pass rush but here I think I think Jones has the time to get it to his receivers fairly regularly.
Ragnarok
I think both OLs struggle in this one with IC getting inside pressure and Seoul getting pressure from the edges. Seoul will be able to rush the passer more freely because IC has 4 WRs, but I don't think Seoul's WRs will do anything, although I think their TEs have a big day. I think the Seoul offense gets bogged down while IC is able to hit on a couple of big plays.
