Lancaster Werewolves

Lancaster Offensive Strategy: Gotham has a ton of talent defensively but one area where they can be exploited is their CBs, who have struggled this year. Because of that we want to come out passing as we think it’s our greatest chance to defeat Gotham. We want to use a variety of weapons and attack at all levels of the field to keep the Gotham defense guessing. Then later in the game if we have the lead, we want to start eating the clock to keep Gotham’s most explosive player, Tyreek Hill, off the field.

The Passing Strategy: We want to come out of the gate passing the ball. We have plenty of options and we’re going to have them running a variety of routes to get open all over the field. OBJ and Mike Evans will get theirs even if one or both of them are double covered, which I suspect they will be. This will open things up for the rest of our offense. We have Willie Snead starting as our third receiver but we want to play him and Josh Reynolds equally and then ride the hot hand if either does go off. We’re going to regularly be getting the ball to Alvin Kamara out of the backfield as well as splitting him out wide to create mismatches. We’re going to be mixing in Miles Sanders a decent amount as well due to his ability in the receiving game. Finally we have Kittle who will also get his. If he doesn’t play we start Jonnu Smith who has been a good receiving target this year. We think that if Gotham decides to double cover one or both of our starting receivers, this will leave other guys with plenty of chances to get open and get the ball. If they don’t double cover one or both of them, we will have plenty of success passing against Gotham’s struggling CBs.

The Running Strategy: When we run the ball we feel that our OL can have success against Gotham’s DL. We also want to hit the edges with our guards pulling because we feel we can spring a couple of runs past the second level that way. Once/if we have a decent lead, we’re going to go much heavier on the running game to eat up the clock and keep Hill off the field. Before that the run will come enough to keep the defense honest.

Lancaster Defensive Strategy: The two scariest players on this Gotham offense are Tyreek Hill and Josh Jacobs so that’s who we’re going to be keying in on this game. We feel that our pass rush can have a decent amount of success against Gotham’s OL as well, which is solid but beatable so we’re going to look to get at Wentz and throw him off his rhythm. We want to mix in some 3-4 looks as well to help our pass rushers get to the QB.

The Pass Defense Strategy: This week we’re going to be double covering Tyreek Hill. Jaire Alexander will cover him with Eddie Jackson providing bracket support over the top to limit his big play ability. Jalen Ramsey will cover Jarvis Landry and James Bradberry will cover Devante Parker. Vonn Bell will take his usual place in the box and cover Rudolph. We’re going to be Fred Warner in over Anthony Barr because of his ability in the running game. Wagner will cover Jacobs if he’s used in the passing game while Warner will watch for the run, occasionally blitzing.

The Run Defense Strategy: We’ve yet again got Bell playing in the box to help against the run and have two LBs watching Jacobs just about every play. Warner is one of the top run-defending LBs in the league so his presence on the field should be felt.

He's got one. I think it's just common to not post one if the other is missing.

I generally give it a day. I'll post it tomorrow when I get home from work if I don't have anything from Pheltz by then.

Or I can just do it now since he has said he isn't sending anything in.
