Management I’m going to need help managing this project by assisting me with keeping workbooks updated. Those that have helped in the past know that I’ve designed even the master workbooks to be easily managed. Will post the required management positions at a later date. Membership As Owner, you are given “total control” to manage your team either; independently without the help from a team staff or as a group effort, either by members of your choosing or by creating a war room thread within your team’s sub-forum and assign your staff with position titles, responsibilities and to the level of control you are willing to provide them. We understand that members can’t guarantee they’ll be around each year, so all we ask is that you give us a heads up prior to leaving so that we can start looking for a replacement. Also, keep in mind that finding a replacement will be much easier for us if you haven’t completely destroyed the team to where it makes it impossible for the new owner to manage the team due to salary cap issues. Getting Fired - Yes, that's right, you will be given a warning and ultimately terminated from your GM position, should you or your coaching staff fail to follow the guidelines. Reasons for being terminated include but not limited to: Refusal to follow the guidelines Neglecting to follow the forum guidelines Non-active membership Intentionally and repeatedly gaming the system Being a drama queen. We’re men for the most part, so act like it. Initial Roster Build Selecting your NFL Team As mentioned members selecting a team that they are a true fan of are given priority. You’ll be given the team’s 2020 active roster to start out with. You can change the team name and location once a year and only at the start of each season. I need this information when you first sign up. Ie….ny92mike / New York Giants Changing the team name and Location: New Jersey Giants The other 16 team’s active players will be housed within a 12 round individual fantasy snake draft. This is a snake draft, where the order is based on the average irl team regular season standings of the last 3 years, where weight is applied to each year (2019 - 100% / 2018 - 80% / 2017 - 70%). Clubs can go over on their salary cap during this time but must be out of the red before making their next draft selection. However, this shouldn’t be an issue with the increased league cap of 240 million. Free Agency Teams will have the chance to retain erfa, rfa and be allowed to tag up to one. This will be a 12 round FA and if we determine we need to add additional rounds we will. The process is done exactly like previous, where highest bid is awarded the players. Active players not drafted in the fantasy draft will be added to the irl free agents. Here is a copy of the guidelines.
