We've also added Ryan Grigson in a permanent capacity as well.  Not sure what he's doing yet.

I’m not a Grigson fan, but he had to do *something* well to become a GM. He’s not the head honcho and never will be.

He picked good receiving weapons in Indy, but everything else he was God awful at.

Agreed, some guys aren’t cut out to be a top guy but that doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of contributing.

The Richardson trade alone should have lead to his being banished from any NFL FO job.

Looking at Grigsons history. He was phenomenal at finding tight ends and really good at finding WRs. I’m a huge Harrison Bryant believer and I still like Njoku (Grigson was with us in 2017).

So that’s literally all he should ever provide insight on, because the rest of his record is why he got fired.

He shouldn’t even be able to offer his opinion on RB’s

Has the FO made any statement(s) as to why/for what reason/to fill what role Grigson was hired?

Is he a believer in analytics?

That’d be a hell of a twist if he wasn’t...

Everyone uses analytics. This misconception that it’s only the nerds is just weird. If you aren’t using stats, trends, and deductive reasoning, you are a caveman in the football industry.

To me if it looks like crap and smells like crap  it probably is crap.

Or do we owe him a solid for helping us out? LOL....

I think Grigson falls into the category like Monte Kiffen, Romeo Crenell, Bill Callhan....GREAT coaches, who are good at what they do...but NOT head coaching material. I think Grigson is a Super Scout, but not a great GM. (hopefully that correlation didn't go too far out on the Branch)

Hard to argue with that.
