BZski
He has to be getting to the point to where he will sign this week (like Logan Ryan).
SkippyX
There was a point where Cleveland apparently offered him around 16-17 a year with options of 1, 2, or 3 years. He's just delusional as to his value. (or he does not want to play for the Browns)
Wyld Stallyns
I can’t find it now but I saw a report that teams are having trouble getting ahold of him. *Edit https://nfltraderumors.co/latest-update-on-jadeveon-clowney/ Link to NFL Trade Rumors where Tony Pauline is quoted saying that Clowney doesn’t want to attend training camp. Forge
Definitely won't be the 49ers; when asked about it (Signing Clowney specifically), he said the 49ers were out of cash.
TitanSlim
Who knows what his end game is at this point.
Soko
He should bite the bullet and just sign on a team like KC or something - a team that’ll be playing with a lot of leads. Get the most sacks you can and try to cash in again next year, it’s just not happening this year. If the cap does go down, I almost feel bad for the guys on the prove it deals in 2020. But Clowney played his hand so badly.
HTTRDynasty
Seems like either: 1) He feels disrespected that no team wanted him at his asking price at the beginning of free agency, and he’s being petty as a result by waiting until the very last minute to sign. Or 2) He just doesn’t want to play this year.
ET80
I really think he might retire from football. Just looking at the last few notes on him... I get the feeling that this guy doesn't like football. He likes the money, won't say no to a huge deal, but... That's all he wants. There's no actual desire to win games or perform well, he wants the biggest paycheck possible. If he doesn't get it, he'll walk away for good.
SkippyX
On the one hand you would want him in camp to learn the defense and get to know his teammates. On the other hand he won't be cheap-shotting your own players in scrimmage?

I kinda get this feeling from what the Titans beat writers are saying. Some of them are pretty questionable in reliability, but they all seem to agree that they can't get him in for a physical. I'm thinking he might be assuming he won't pass and is just trying to drag things out to buy him more healing time. That or he isn't motivated to play if he doesn't get what he thinks he's worth.
