So Homefront was a bit of a mess, but it was at least an enjoyable mess.  They should have made it about 20 minutes longer as it's only 100 minutes and they leave like 3 open plot threads that are just sort of ditched half way through the movie.  Even the plot threads they close are handled pretty clumsily.  That said, it's always fun to watch Statham kick some ***, and he has a couple clever bits too.  Also some great unintentional comedy in this movie.

Spoiler

I lost it at the end when Franco's meth lab gets blown up by Broker's booby trap.  Franco just looks so heartbroken in that moment, like he thought there were actual drugs being destroyed before he could take them.

It's a good premise, very sloppily handled, but I at least enjoyed it.  It's the kind of movie that you could pick up at any point and have it on in the background sort of paying attention to it any time it was on and you'd enjoy the little bits you'd see, but wouldn't be invested enough to watch the whole thing again.

I enjoyed the part when he kicked the crap out of the guys at the gas station.

Watched my first James Bond movie (I think (I have terrible memory)) and it wasn’t terrible. Casino royale. I noticed the rotten tomatoes ratings for all the Craig movies are like 92%, 67%, 92%, and 67% so based on trends I guess the new one coming out will be 92%

Skyfall is amazing

I’m watching Compliance and it’s stressing me out.  I’m like WTF is this ****?

It is stressing me out.

Like how can people be so ****ing gullible?

I don’t know if I can finish watching this.

Nope, nope, nope.

I can’t watch this.
