I like how the horror elements arent introduced until like 30 mins in after the squad established themselves as asskickers

I have to be honest, I don't keep track of which writer wrote which film, and I hardly keep tabs on which director does what film, or who most performers are. I love movies, but I don't go to the theater. I do think I've got a fair film collection. Edited May 1, 2022 by Bucketheadsdad

Its in the elite Arnold collection with Total Recall, Terminator 1 and 2, and Commando

rickyt31
I'm looking for a psychological or grounded scifi movie or series to watch. Any recommendations?

KManX89
I finally got around to watching Moonfall, now I know why I waited until it hit Redbox to see this. Simply put, this movie is awful in every category. I know it's a Roland Emmerich film and a certain level of stupidity is to be expected, but this movie managed to break even those barriers. The characters are so unbelievably stupid and unlikable with Uwe Boll-levels of logic at certain points, it just made my head spin and atrocious dialog. Even the CGI looks laughably bad at certain points, it sticks out like a sore thumb. And don't even get me started on the twist ending, which'll probably leave you el oh eling at how any professional screenwriter came up with THAT and some studio heads actually thought it was a good idea. Roland Emmerich makes another shytty movie, what else is new? I like ID4, that's about it. Edited May 1, 2022 by KManX89
Ty21
I have a soft spot for Duplass movies, I think Mark Duplass is lowkey a powerhouse indie/dialogue actor. I went into Language Lessons assuming the lowest for it based on the trailer and general plot but it was actually really wholesome. Him being gay made their entire dynamic more authentic and less predatory as it would’ve been if he’d secretly been in love with her. The movie didn’t get stale despite the zoom/video message format. Definitely in my top 5 for Mark Duplass movies I’d say. Edited May 2, 2022 by Ty21

I saw most of Jeff, Who Lives at Home and it was terrible Paddleton seems like a good movie though

Best thing Ang Lee ever directed and probably the best he ever will direct. I watch it every couple of years and it always hits. She also kept diaries during the making of this movie which were later published. Never read them myself, but apparently entertaining
