this from the ringer

The Bears beat the Panthers, 17–3, thanks to those two Jackson touchdowns while Trubisky went just 4-for-7 passing. It was the first time a team had thrown fewer than 10 passes in a game since 2011 — when Tim Tebow went 2-for-8 in a win over the Chiefs. Denver’s coach in that game? John Fox. It was the first time a team had thrown seven or fewer passes in a game since 2006 — when the Panthers beat the Falcons 10–3 on the strength of a 4-for-7, 32-yard performance by Chris Weinke. Carolina’s coach in that game? John Fox.

Through seven games, Gurley has rushed for 627 yards and added 293 yards receiving. He’s also scored eight combined touchdowns, which leads the NFL. His resurgence is a big reason the Rams have been dominant on offense, carrying the load on a weekly basis.

As a result of his incredible production, he’s on pace to accomplish something only one other running back has done. Over 16 games, Gurley is on track to rush for 1,433 yards and add 670 yards receiving with 18 total touchdowns.

Priest Holmes is the only player in NFL history to reach those numbers, doing so twice (2002, 2003). That puts into perspective how good Gurley has been.

81 yards is the most the Eagles have let up to a running back so far this year.  The bulk of it came on 53 yard run by Kareem Hunt. The next highest rusher against the Eagles has been Cam Newton with 71 yards.

The rest of the running backs the Eagles have faced haven't broken 40 yards.

Todd broke AZ's streak of not allowing a RB to rush over one hunna yesterday. 19 straight games..

i was a touch skeptical with how he played in the preseason but man he turned it up and around and then some.

You were just about the only one skeptical about Calais. Was pretty shocked when you thought we wasted money on him as he wasn't a fit.

He's been a straight monster, not only has he dominated, pretty clear that he has helped Ngakoue and Fowler quite a bit too. Ngakoue is at 6.5 sacks through 7 games and Fowler is at 5.5 (finished with 4 last year). We could seriously have 3 guys have 10+ sacks. We haven't had a 10 sack player since 2006 I believe when Bobby McCray did it.

to be fair he wasnt even Pressuring QBS during the preseason. he was litterally staying blocked the entire time like Odrick.

Preseason: Where NFL vets are putting everything on full display.

Preseason shows every year not to take everything what happens seriously.

What crazy is he is having his best season statistically and already has his highest sack total in his career with only 7 games...    And he is 31 :o so kinda passed his prime I guess.

24/10

Deshaun Watson: League's lowest adjusted completion %. So, factoring in drops. His receivers have only dropped 2 passes (1.1%) all season

Brandon Graham: Leading edge defenders in run stop efficiency. 15.4% blown up (10 run stops on 65 run snaps)

Boddy-Calhoun: Giving up fewest receptions in football. 1 catch every 44.5 coverage snaps. Least targeted CB in the game, despite playing 178 coverage snaps. Also leading league in yards per coverage snap given up. Allowed 0.14 yards per snap.

Kony Ealy: 8 batted passes, which is twice more than any DLer

Diggs: 4th in yards per route run, Thielen: 6th. Good measure, as it's usually Brown and Jones topping this stat.

That calhoun set of stats is impressive. @LETSGOBROWNIES can you confirm?
