Sproles and Tomlinson both went over 100 against Det that game. I did not feel welcome and I did not leave with a good impression of the people around me in the stadium. I did, however, share a hotel elevator with Jeff Backus the night before the game. I didn't say anything. I remember they kept playing meows over the loudspeaker. I guess that's pretty normal. Recently I was at the Packers at Lions game that started off our run last season. We played absolutely miserable football on offense and I was waiting for Rodgers to win it at the last moment the entire time... and then it didn't happen for the first time ever. Speaking of Kelce, and similarly Mahomes, the guys who take good contracts that are team friendly tend to be on winning teams. The guys who get paid the most at their positions seem to be on losers. Some of said this at the time of the trade. Reportedly the team was in contract talks with him for awhile and he would not budge. One thing about Brad, he’ll offer a fair contract but he’s not overpaying anyone. TJ is a good TE in a league with only a couple elite TEs.
