It must be such a struggle to play QB with Odell, Landry, Higgins, Hooper, Njoku, Chubb, Hunt and that oline. I wonder how they're 22nd in yards and points. Cleveland is a fraud and i'm very happy they didn't get past Chad Henne yesterday.

So much talent man.  Just crazy to look at.

Stop comparing these Hall of fame QBs to Carr. There's levels to this QB game and he aint it.

Carr is more like Culpepper, Jeff George, Jameis Winston, Carson Palmer and Jay Cutler. Talented players who can put up good looking stats not good enough to push their teams to the top tier of the league

wasnt really comparing them, just pointing out that Drew has been in favorable positions, and he wasnt elite until he was with Payton and Co. Your surroundings matter in the NFL.

We had a joke of a defense the entire Fooking time.... why do raider fans ignore this fact... if you were at a fantasy draft party and picked the Raider defense, people would look at you like a crazy! The defense has been an ongoing joke for the past 7 years.... Even longer, last decent defense was the super bowl year!

Scoring was up league wide this year

Carr had 20 turnovers this year. If you dont think that had something with to do with giving up more points to teams...

BTW The winning formula in the NFL has happened again this year.

Build a team around a rookie salary QB or find a Hall of fame QB. Mahomes, Brady, Rodgers and Allen fit those category.

Carr doesnt meet that. We need to move on this season. 7 seasons and 1 playoff appearance aint cutting it

DC is under market value! Cut bums like Brown, Richie, Nassib, Joyner, MM, Williams

Not really, Brees made it happen with mid and late round picks. Colston was his top target as a 7th round pick. Kamara was a 3rd round pick and Thomas a 2nd.

This board puts an over reliance on supporting cast as the #1 success for a QB. The great QBs elevate the talent around them.

How many rings did Brees win with Thomas? He’s had the best player caller too, and Saints know talent....

brady wanted out of Patriots because they refused to add talented playmakers.... Bucs are loaded and Brady close to another super bowl while the Pats out fishing....

Josh Allen took off this year once they added Diggs.....

Wilson was throwing bombs when the Seahawks added Lockett and DK.

Chiefs loaded across the board with the best TE, and a track team of playmakers. Add in an offensive mastermind calling plays!

You can deny all the want but the winning proof in the NFL is clear.

Either hit on a young rookie scale star QB

Or

Have a HOF QB

We need top 5 everything for carr lol defense, oline, targets, coaches anything I miss?

We've never even had a top 16 defense.  Our defense has never, ever been in the upper half of NFL rankings since DC became our starter.  And your argument is as terrible as it gets.  So what, the teams that made the playoffs have some of the best QBs, RBs, Defenses, HCs in the league.  Sean Payton, Andy Reid, Browns with their plathora of talent, Tennessee and their 2k yard RB, Baltimore with their HC of 10+ years, MVP QB, and talented defense.  Pittsburgh and their 10+ year HC and Ben who has won it all, plus their legit awesome defense (which suffered some major losses due to injury).  You're damn right a team needs all of the above to make it to the SB.  You think Mahomes is taking the NYJ all the way?  Take away Kelce and Hill and all of a sudden half of his production is missing.  You have arguably a top 5 WR and top 2 TE on his offense, along with a first round RB, Mecole Hardman and Sammy Watkins as your other targets, and a very good defense to go along with it all, and yeah guess what @NCOUGHMAN, you're going to the SB.

This whole "DC needs top 5 everything" argument is a joke.  The best teams have the best talent across the board.  Rarely ever will you see a team in the SB that doesn't have one of the best (essentially top 10) HCs, QBs, defenses altogether at the same time.  Seriously, tell me you really believe Aaron Rodgers could take Jax to the SB and that Mahomes can take the Jets to the SB as well.  Just tell me you really believe that.  Why didn't Watson get to the playoffs?  He played lights out?  What went wrong?  He didn't have a top 5 anything but he's amazing so shouldn't they still do better than 4-12?  Watson must clearly be just like DC and need a top 5 everything as well right?  Your response is lazy.

How so? Literally every offseason there is a Carr excuse that he doesn't have something which is the reason why we aren't in the playoffs

no ones asked for a top 5 anything, just not bottom 5. Like his defense was last year, and his weapons were the year before. yall like to stretch the facts.

im a Raider fan above all, i like DC and often defend him on here and with friends and family. That doesnt mean i will blindly support him at the expense of the organization. Its just that hes literally the best QB weve had since 2002, and the FO has failed him in a lot of ways since hes been drafted. From bad coaching decisions, to bad personnel decisions, you name it. When DC has had something to work with hes put together some good seasons. No, hes not going to turn around a franchise on his own, but who does that? Rodgers has had help, Brady has had help, Brees, Manning, Russ etc, i see talent in Carr, and just would like to see him with a good supporting cast, not just offense but a well balanced team, that he has a fighting chance to beat the KC's, the Bradys etc. Carr has been showing up to gunfights with knives the majority of his career. My thing is build up the team to playoff caliber, and if hes holding us back, replace him and try to upgrade. But hes on as close to a rookie deal as youre gonna get, and if we bring in a new QB, hell be facing the same obstacles DC has faced, with less cap space, and draft picks to upgrade the rest of the roster.

Jameis Winston and Jay Cutler? Not only do you move the goalposts (several times), but your positions get harder to defend with each subsequent post.
