MrOaktown_56
Ya'll gotta realize that next year we can also slide Ruggs/Agholor to the slot on early downs, which will allow us to create big mismatches from the slot in the play action game. Who knows what Edward’s brings to the table. I like Edward’s as a prospect but there is no way to tell if his game will translate to the nfl. I would prefer Juju over NA because of age and upside. We need a durable, RZ threat which NA is not. Juju can also be a high volume threat over the middle. I’m assuming that Ruggs can fill the NA role considering his lofty draft status. At 12 million we are not paying him to be an elite 1, we are paying him to do exactly what I stated. I don't really follow Bears guards too closely he is really good regard guard but right before his retirement they tried to put him at right tackle and between that and injuries he didn’t really work out at that position before retiring. I think it would be a really good signing because retired players always come cheap and he’s proven to be a pro bowl guard when healthy plus he’s not that old(Richy incognito prove that the guards can play well into their 30s)

That is a main reason we struggle in the RZ. A physical threat who can win contested catches and win in tight coverage.

That’s the same argument as when people say we should stop drafting because our draft picks haven’t developed yet or let’s trade for Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson because they’ve gone to the playoffs on their teams LOL
