Lol good lord this forum sometimes. Now some are saying Hurts has more potential than Lamar Jackson. Yikes.

There is only one way to rate them fairly at this point, compare what they both did in their first 3 starts.

  • Jackson was a 67 rated passer with 1 TD, 2 picks, and about 150 yards passing a game. He also ran for 2 TDs and 265 yards.
  • Hurts is 100+ rated passer so far with 5 TD passes and 613 yards passing with more than a half to go in game 3.
    • He also has 213 yards rushing at a much higher average (5.5 per run vs 4.2) and a TD.

FYI, Lamar faced 3 doormat teams that were 4-12, 7-9, and 6-10

They were both highly talented dual threat prospects that were not considered worth a top 10 pick.

If you prefer Jackson through 3 starts its because you have an agenda.

Yes, Rams and Browns might have the two biggest meltdowns we have seen in a while. And the SAME year...

I think Rams will win next week though and Cards are out. But I do think the Browns will complete their meltdown. It’s the Browns.

It all started with your clown coach last night to be honest. Win and then the Browns would just be in with a Bills win, a Colts loss, or a win. Calling the Browns a “collapse” when an entire position group is out due to Covid protocols and two starting linebackers test positive is a bit extreme.

But Herbert has been a top 10 qb, so not sure how it's laughable, at all.

To be fair, I think his point is people anointing a QB for 1 season of good play is laughable, which it is.

Someone can have an isolated great season without being a surefire top 10 going forward.

Nobody should be losing to the Jets regardless. You also might get swept by two teams in your own division, that's pretty collapse worthy if it happens.

And nobody thought Raiders were beating the Dolphins anyways.
