He came in and had a very solid first draft. After that it's been a mess. He's in such a crappy situation because although he is the GM, Gruden runs the show and the HC should NOT have more power than the GM. It's such a flawed system.

I told raiders fans after that draft class had their rookie season (I actually think it was a direct quote to you) that its easy to find guys who will make contributions when your team has zero talent, and that it was a great draft class to take you from 4 wins to 5/6 wins, but that it actually wasn't that great of a draft class and that I didn't expect that group to hit the lofty projections raiders fans suddenly had for them.

The clelin ferrel pick epitomizes the raiders struggles drafting. They get too focused on their guy and don't read the room well enough. Ferrel would have been available 5+ spots lower and they should have traded down if he was their target, but realistically Josh Allen should have been the pick

Thank god. Complete lazy bum with zero passion for football. Only place that can get the most out of him is probably New England.

He was the next coming of Munoz for us, for some reason

I don't expect that to be the case this time, but it's worth a shot I think

Pretty sure they didn't have a trade down offer. And Brian Burns should have been the pick.

If it is such a great deal why didn't anyone beat that offer?

You could say the same for when they traded for Randy Moss. It’s a great trade because Brown (when on the Pats) was a top end OT.

Will he come back to BB and become a top player again?! Only time will tell. But as a Jets fan Iv become accustomed to seeing most things the Pats touch turn into gold.

I honestly think - specific to the OL - Dante Scarneccia was the gold weaver in NE.

We'll see if he left his legacy back in NE and his replacements can carry that bag.

That’s true although NE just have a way of getting the most out of their players. I say that from a respectful and enviable position!

Not to mention Brady's propensity for getting the ball out quick. Neither are the case anymore.
