So I need to do some rereading of earlier day 1 stuff, but I don’t think I buy the narrative that bcb self hammered to save Swag. ksj voted for bcb with a minute left in the day. Bcb was already in the lead. Tk3 switched to swag right after, Hokie to bcb, then bcb to himself. All of this happened really quickly. swoosh and ksj voted for swag after the deadline. I think bcb self hammered because once ksj voted for him, he probably thought he was done, and this could sell the stump claim. If he wanted to save swag, better to have a teammate hammer him last second for town cred. Unless of course that wasn’t possible. Either way, when bcb voted for himself, it’s likely he hadn’t even seen Tk3’s switch to him. It was too soon after, at at the moment before, bcb was leading both swag and ksj by two votes, not counting hokie, who bounced around, but had been on him before, and wasn’t likely to go swag.
