EirePacker
Nelson in the first is an interesting one, had a friend try selling me on it the other day aswell. I think Washington will end up going around the late 2nd though.
MacReady
You'd find me picking out a ledge if this happened.

Kenrik
Guard isnt a premium position and I doubt Ted takes one that early. I've been scouting RBs and Damien Harris is going to be really good. Like maybe the 2nd RB taken. Whats your thoughts on CBs? Resign House and hope Randall continues his play ? Thanks for the read. Love mock drafts. CWood21
If we're picking a guard with a top-16 pick, I'm gonna lose it. EDGE or CB. Don't think James Washington will be there in the 5th round.
AlexGreen#20
2 Interior Offensive Lineman and a NT who doesn't generate pressure with four picks in the first 3 rounds is pretty awful
NFLGURU
Vita Vea in the third? Barring injury he's a lock for the first round. He may be gone before the Packers pick in the first.
{Family Ghost}
You don't draft guards in the 1st round .. ever. I like the idea of a trade up for a pass rusher.
ChaRisMa
I’m fine with a Guard if he’s worth it. Y’all are smoking crack if you’d be that upset with this. I say that because I think Washington and Lewis are both going to be first rounders at this point. Washington’s name in particular keeps hitting my eyes everywhere I look. Zack Martin, Steve Hutchinson, Kyle Long, David DeCastro, Mike Iupati were all first round picks and high quality players that you'd love to have on your team. If you think a guard is up there, you at least consider him. Whats with everybody speaking in absolutes when it comes to a draft that year after year is a crap shoot (which is exactly what makes it exciting) and is still 7 months away? Norm
If we draft a guard this place would meltdown, that much is known.

And you've also got players like Josh Garnett, Laken Tomlinson, Jonathan Cooper, Chance Warmack, etc. who were terrible waste of draft picks. If we're drafting at what is likely our earliest draft pick since 2009, I'd rather use it on a position that I think we're going to get more impact out of. And given our history of developing quality OG later on in the drat, I'd rather use a more premium pick on a more premium position. I like Nelson, I really do but I don't like him enough to use my first round pick on him.
