Why everyone takes things so seriously

Because your comment didnt come across as sarcasm, and you gave zero indication you were being sarcastic?

That could be it.

Its based on QB rating and record.

Its not saying Dak is awful, just that Wentz and Dak have been similar with Dak slightly better.

The rating showed that and the possible rankings showed that.

I am just trying to point out that the Wentz hate is weak. And that to love Dak and hate Wentz is laughable.

Any other topics that mods are allowed to personally attack me about?

If you take that as a personal attack, I don't know what to tell you, but I respect your right to be triggered and I apologize that you feel that way.

Another unpopular opinion

This "AFC is bad and NFC has all the best teams" narrative is COMPLETELY baseless

Every team in the NFL has shown inconsistency, and on an overall basis AFC has actually outperformed the NFC

The AFC has more talent, it's pretty obvious.

He called out your comment, not you personally, so not really a personal attack, FWIW.

I feel like I've posted this multiple times lately, be as far as Wentz versus Dak, trajectory matters. Sure, you can find statistical similarities over a stretch, but Prescott has improved literally every season since 2017, the start of your sample there. Wentz peaked in 2017/2018, then regressed, then regressed some more, then looks back now that he's on a team everyone considered one of the more talented in football before he arrived (and his performance is similar to the now out of league Philip Rivers from last year.) If two guys have similar stats over a stretch, but one guy was at his best 3 to 4 years ago, while the other is at his best right now, it should be obvious why they're viewed differently.

I would say this Colts - Bucs game is bearing that out. (just one example)

Dallas is one of the top NFC teams and they are 1-3 against the AFC West. (6-1 against the NFC)

Agreed

AFC is a cumulative 86-81-1.. NFC is a cumulative 81-86-1.. That's pretty similar but an edge to AFC

AFC only has 4 teams under .500.. NFC has 9

So yeah.. NFC is inflating its top teams because it's top and bottom heavy.. AFC is having a lot of attrition among itself, but generally outperforming when its AFC vs NFC

Part of the problem is that he doesn't have a huge sample at the NFL level. His offense with Teddy was actually really good outside of the red zone last year. I think it was second in epa / play or something like that. Thats not to say that the red zone woes aren't worrying, but one issue at a time lol.

But this year he's saddled with arguably the worst QB in football in Darnold and a QB who may be done in Cam. He put together a very respectable offense with a meh starting QB without his premiere weapon for most of the year.

I think he'll get looks for sure...Zac Taylor got hired and didn't do a damn thing, remember

That's a bit unfair to Taylor. He spent  The better part of 7 years in the NFL coaching ranks beforehand, having a great deal to due with Tannehill's growth (remember, Tannehill wasn't horrid in Miami) before getting the rub from McVay.

Not saying it's a great resume, but more than a single season of success with a once in a lifetime cast in a position where you're focusing on one element of an offense.

Not to mention Wentz peak in 2018 was overshadowed when Foles took over and the team didn't even miss a beat. That's going to be a cloud over Wentz head for his entire career.
