I’d rather see us just draft a QB to develop while Heinicke remains the starter but, Mayhew was apart of the 49ers front office when they signed Jimmy G & they went to the Super Bowl two years ago and lost to the Chiefs. Like I said, I’d rather see us draft someone but if I’m being honest, I don’t think Rivera wants to do that. I do wonder what the market would be for Jimmy G. But signing a vetran and drafting a young QB I all in on that. As of right we need to draft the BPA in next yr draft. Actually we have a good shot at a QB in the 1st rd next yr. Trey Lance looks terrible and Jimmy G has been playing well. I would bring him in but not trade for him. He would have to compete with TH and would draft someone in the 2nd round.
