Humble_Beast
Dump Good and his 4m contract. Go sign Ereck Flowers to play LG, instant upgrade in the middle. Pay him 6-7m, we currently have 6m in can space. Keep Leatherwood at RT, and then draft a RG in the 3-4th Miller, Flowers, James, Rookie/Bears FA, Leatherwood BANG

He's not an LB he's a DE. With that said I would love to bring him in and have him in the DE rotation

I don't think Flowers is much of an upgrade to Good is he? Looks to me like we're just hoping for guys to improve more than anything. RG is a 3rd round rookie or later so wouldn't expect a lot there but we can hope, Leatherwood is back at RT so it seems we're hoping he improves dramatically and then we're hoping James improves from average to good. I think we need a good FA RT and bringing Good back into the side with Simpson, Leatherwood and anyone else fighting for the last OG position is the way to go. That way we'd have 3 good players (Good, Miller, RT) on the line and can get by with the other two. I'm in the school of thought to try and find 3 good OL and we can make do the other two but we must have three good players.

Maybe an injury that hasnt been made public. Or he's waiting till after the draft miss some otas and see which teams are desperate because the whole wasn't filled In the draft or the was an injury. Humble_Beast
My list of guys I'm interested in for this team: WR: Will Fuller, Beckham T: Eric Fisher, Daryl Williams, Riley Reiff, Brandon Shell G: Ereck Flowers, Trai Turner DT: Akiem Hicks, Larry Ogunjobi, Eddie Goldman, Sheldon Richardson DE/Edge: Clowney, Trey Flowers, Carlos Dunlap, Rasheem Green LB: Joe Schobert, Anthony Barr, Kyle Van Noy S: Honey Badger, Landon Collins , Terrell Edmunds Edited April 18, 2022 by Humble_Beast
Trojan
I'd like Will Fuller the most of all of those options because it's a unique ability we lack with the current make up of our roster, but I'd also be talking to Mack Hollins in private about how he was as a teammate and if he was checked out or the broken finger just lingered an unfortunately long time and Flores shut him down to make Grier look bad or something. I quietly questioned and never understood why Minnesota used Barr..:: a college pass rushing 3-4 OLB…. In the ways they did. He should be a pass rusher, as you said. JarrodR86
I’d still like to see happen, although some may require having post June 1 cap space: Sign Tyrann Matheiu (post June 1) Trade Abram + a 2023 5th for James Bradberry (could probably fit in cap now) Sign Julio Jones or OBJ (post June 1) Draft - Address depth at OG/OT, speed receiver, LB and DT.. we should be able to find that with our 3rd, 4th, two 5ths and a 7th. Safety group solid with Moehrig and Matheiu starting.. Harmon, Teamer and Gillespie as reserves Cornerback set with Bradberry as our new #1 with a battle of Mullen, Ya-Sin, Everett and Phillips as the #2 with a good group as backups + Hobbs locking down the slot. WR room would be stacked with Davante, Julio/OBJ, Renfrow, Edwards, D. Robinson and say a pick like Danny Gray or another speedster.. Hollins and Johnson would probably be cut unless kept for PR/KR. OL I’m not as down about it as some, but still wish they would have signed someone better than Parker for a few million more and still could but who knows.. Kolton, Good, James, Leatherwood and Parker could be a solid unit with Better coaching, or Leatherwood could make a 2nd year jump at RT like Kolton and a draft pick could battle it out with Simpson at one of the guard spots opposite Good and Parker then becomes the swing tackle. Fair amount of possibilities!
