Interesting note... the Taco Bowl representative from the Salsa Conference, the Richmond Flying Squirrels, did not have a single player selected to the All-Star Bowl (neither did Egypt).

Sucks to suck.

To be honest, 0 All Stars seems about right. The biggest snub was likely Patrick Ricard, but I highly doubt anybody bothered to factor in anything other than surface level stats for FB. I mean I didn't even get a ballot in. Who the hell knows how much influence a FB has on the run game as a whole though, so I have no complaints with Doyle getting the nod.

Patrick Ricard [16 GS]: 16 carries for 79 yards (4.94 YPC, 17 LNG), 0 touchdowns. 9 receptions for 139 yards (15.44 YPR, 33 LNG), 1 touchdown, 2 drops. 21 pancakes.

Rushing: 2,979 (Per Game: 186.19), Per Rush: 5.12

Jack Doyle [16 GS]: 22 carries for 177 yards (8.05 YPC, 52 LNG), 2 touchdowns. 5 receptions for 96 yards (19.20 YPR, 56 LNG), 1 touchdown. 20 pancakes.

Rushing: 2,297 (Per Game: 143.56), Per Rush: 4.48

Taylor was great, averaging nearly 5 yards a carry, but I didn't give him the volume needed to put up yards and TDs to be an All Star. Julio and DK were both solid, but nothing special. None of my star studded offensive line really had impressive individual seasons. Again just looking at surface level stats here. I'm sure they were a big reason for my success on the ground this season. Demarcus Lawrence was probably close with 81 tackles, 13 stuffs, and 10 sacks. I felt my secondary put up nice numbers, but no idea how they stack up against others out there. Nick Folk was likely in the running going 39/43 and 43/43, but I'm sure there were others too.

To be fair, the biggest disparity in those two rushing offenses is Russ scrambling for over 600 yards at 8 ypc compared to Stafford's 130 at less than 3 ypc. Take away those 500 yards and almost double the league average per attempt and the run games are pretty comparable. The difference becomes less than 15 yards per game.

Over half my games ended in 2 min warning, kneel 3 times for 1 yds loss. So that factors in as well.

Psh, Ricard was out there leading the way for Russ.

Also, I disagree (for ****s and giggles). Look at Taylor’s yards per carry vs Henry’s. Unless you think Taylor is that much better than Henry.

I literally have no idea here. This is all subjective.

(plug your ears Squirrels)

BTW, I’m blowing this up if I win. It keeps it entertaining for me. I did the same thing with my last squad.

Probably why my overall record is low. I’m either all in or all out, focusing on rebuilding. Love that this league format allows for teams to make quick turnarounds.

I actually voted for Taylor for the All-Star Bowl (2nd in Salsa behind Kamara)... that YPC was filthy, and the general stats were great.
