Dubz41
How is our Assistant GM handling this?
packfanfb
Well, just like that, Alexander is the lone 2018 draftee left.
GHARMON9
I completely underestimated what NFL wide receivers go for. Glad he got the bag but I wouldn't even pay half of that

In NFL terms MVS contact is actually a bargain. We could've had him through his age 30 season on a deal far cheaper than the one we had with Adams through to his almost age 30 season. packfanfb
It'll be very interesting to watch MVS's production in KC. Perfect situation with him with a long-ball QB who likes to buy time as well. Will be a good litmus test to see if he takes off or remains about the same type of player.
gopackgo972
Complete reset of the WR room. Interesting tactic with an aging QB. I guess you had to do it but just kind of bad timing. The WR market has dried up and the draft class at WR is not as good as previous years. 🤷♂️

Dude, if GB had brought him back it wouldn't really move the needle much in the "your team basically has no WRs" department. He was an inconsistent player at best and MVS at that price is not a bargain. Good luck to him and the Chiefs but GB dodged a bullet. I think the safe bet is in 2-3 years nobody will be clamoring for the "MVS glory days" because people will realize they never existed. Let's add a vet who might actually have better upside for better value and get some young WRs during the draft.

O'Donnell probably will, but maybe they got a good discount.

Toddfather
Mixed feeling with this. I like MVS, but I get not wanting to spend the $$$ on a speedster. I think Gutey has a plan for the WR room. It will work out, but I get it making people a bit nervous at the moment.
