Well, we might be pulling the rug out from under ourselves, and I think that some of us are scared of what the future beholds. We were (are?) on the cusp of being a quality football club, but have watched our neighbors to the south sprint past us even though we managed to beat them both times we played them this year. Beats the hell out of me. I think we all want the same thing. He was billed as just the opposite when we signed him last year. In 2021 he had 2 passed defenses, allowed 80%+ completion percentage and QB rating of 95 when targeted. And with defending the pass being so important, it’s wild to think we get a good pass defender for low cost 1 year deals in consecutive seasons.
