ACO
Oddly, I like this signing. It is cleapish and he is more a big WR than a TE anyways.
Forge
I have no issues with this one. I don't think it's going to ultimately contribute a ton of value, but at least there's the possibility of some.
iloxygenil
Jags are like a kid who just got his allowance and got to the toy store. They don't care if it's a good toy or not, they've seen that name on a commercial somewhere and they're throwing all their pennies at stuff.
minutemancl
My first thought was that Doug Pederson may actually use him correctly (almost strictly as a slot WR), but then I remembered they just gave a true slot receiver almost $100 mill so he's not coming off the field. Evan is a really hard worker and a good guy. He has a serious case of the dropsies and has never really been used correctly. Wish him the best, but I am mad that this isn't nearly enough for a comp pick. EDIT: Also, I feel like this is worth mentioning whenever a player who was a Giant last year gets signed in FA this year. PFF did an eval a few months ago of the expected WAR accounted for by each teams' players that were going to be entering free agency. The Giants were the only team projected to get better after free agency by losing all the players they could lose because almost all of them produced at a worse-than-replacement level. I think the PFF WAR stat is deeply flawed and relatively useless right now, but that is very funny to think about how the Giants are poised, by some metric, to get better by just letting all their players walk because they were so bad. SkippyX
Engram and OJ Howard had such promise as 2017 rookies. Then, not so much. This is a prayer of a hope that he can stay healthy and regain form or peak or something?
