{Family Ghost}
Is this the highest return anyone has ever received for a wide receiver?

We'd have enough ammo to build a contender in 2 years if he were to be a valid QB, if not, we'd be able to move easily from him and be a good QB destination/have picks to draft a qb in the 1st round. It has more to do with the time they got hot than the overall quality of the team. They lost Von Miller and their LT. They are going to lose additional players before it is over. They grabbed an aging WR, but Beckham is out for the year next year basically, if he re-signs. They are allegedly looking to trade Robert Woods, who they will likely get a 6th round pick for, if they can move him at all. Oh, and they don't have a first-round pick either. The rams haven’t had a 1st round pick in 6 years and they’ve been to the SB twice and won 1. You over value 1st round picks.

This entire forum overvalues draft picks over proven players, hell the Patriots were winning super bowls while completely whiffing on their premium picks not long ago

Rams do it again this year and maybe I'll be a believer in their system. Thinking they don't come close to doing it again .. no choices, no money. Thinking they don't come close to doing it again .. no choices, no money. The last two teams legit bought their players, can head the Broncos in there this decade as well. Free agency has been an integral part of team building in the modern NFL, it's not all about just drafting and letting the kids cook for a number of years. Teams have formulas to win and win now. If it's not obvious the cap is extremely fluid just look at the Saints, they cleared like $80 mil in a week.
Zycho32
As much as draft picks are a real [BLEEP]shoot and Free Agents tend to have that 'Grass is Greener on the other side' appeal to them, I personally don't think the team would do all that well going 'ALL-IN' like say a West Coast team can. Sounds kinda bleh, but we don't have the location that makes for a fantastic secondary factor in acquiring big talent which means significantly larger overspending which leads to the present-day cap h*ll AR's been putting us through dialed up to 11. And all that for a likely product that year-in and year-out has multiple 'star' attractions and a lack of foundation within the depth chart.
