Since starting 3-22, the Reds are 11-8 over their last 19 games.  So, they bad, just not all timer bad......probably.

To be fair, they played a lot of games against the Pirates and the Cubs, who are also really bad teams.  NL Central is a disaster this year behind Milwaukee and St. Louis.

Adam Schefter -  Tommy Pham told reporters today that he has been suspended three games. During batting practice Friday, Pham slapped Joc Pederson regarding a disagreement over fantasy football rules. “I slapped Joc,” he told reporters. “He said some s—- I don’t condone. I had to address it.”

Here's a suspension that was earned.

This sport is so damn evil man.

It's almost like a team should be able to see the competetive advantage of paying your prospects enough money so they could focus only on baseball all year.  Or, you know, be able to afford proper nutrition.  There are loads of big leaguers that didn't get huge signing bonuses and you have to wonder how many more there would be if they could have afforded to develop properly all year.

It's $5M per team per year, they make that on ******* SODA sales. It's a joke. And yeah like, there's a reason European football has a vastly more efficient talent pipeline, because the guys at the lower developmental levels are ALLOWED TO DEVELOP and grow, not just the bonus babies, because they have set up systems that allow them to do so.

Baseball is far and away the most profitable in net profits of the 4 majors and they continue to penny pinch and gut everything about the sports lower levels and local interest development (why did they cut 40 minor league teams that would have fostered major interest in the sport in those towns?!?!) because they want to scratch as much blood from the stone as possible. Because $4.5B isn't enough, they need to be worth $6B. That will definitely make a material difference in the owners life.
