Im not going to defend Packers special teams at all.

However, Greg is still pretty shaky. FG kickers...if they get into a downswing they can be out of the league very quickly.

This should definitely be Masons last year with GB, and we should bring in competition

Not a future HOF but a big time upgrade over what the Jets have had since dating back to 2017. 

How is playoff kicking relevant to the Jets?

His ~82.9 the past 2 years means that he is roughly the 20th best kicker the past couple years.

If one day you ever reach a baseline level of maturity and wonder why you’re posts are memes around here, you can look back to this post as one of the many reasons. 

What team you root for while watching from home on a Sunday does not exclude you from the conversation, nor does it make Greg Zuerlein a better kicker. This is facebook-argument level spewing. 

If in your response, you feel the need to bring up another guy’s fandom (especially in a kicker thread), you’re probably doing something silly again.

He's an underrated tackler because he's only 6'0", but has laid down 8 (eight) tackles including 7(!) solo tackles. You point to a sharp decline in his accuracy (overrated), but let me direct you to the fact that you don't put up 80 touchbacks in one season without an absolute CANNON for a leg. There has been talk that they might have to restructure MetLife to accommodate and keep the ball in the stadium.

I mean literally, just ONE season ago he had a team builder card in Madden that looked like ->

You're telling me a K with a 96 KPW leg can't play in the NFL? I don't even want to talk about what a creative mastermind like Brant Boyer could do with that SPD and ACC from the K position. Now that he FINALLY has a decent ST coach (I hear Boyer is one of the best in the league), I GUARANTEE you Legatron is going to be all pro this year.

I think there is a lot of reason to be excited if you are a Jets fan. Just too many haters out there jealous of the dynasty they are building up in East Rutherford.

I like the moves a lot because they've addressed severe positions of weakness @ RG/CB/SS/K/TE (x2) with all big time upgrades. 

Which will allow us to focus on and splash @ Edge Rusher/WR/O-Line/LB throughout the first two rounds @ 4th Overall, 10th Overall, 35th Overall & 38th overall.

 (+ 3rd round, 4th Round (x2) and 5th round (x2). 

This Jets FA is setting us up to attack the strength of the draft (Edge Rusher/WR/O-Line/LB).
