Nobody knows him as a WR. Nobody. I have never heard anyone say damn "Duvernay is such a great receiver, did you see that game he had?. Never. And neither have you.

The point is, Andrews is the only note worthy option for Lamar. Bateman is unproven and if you think Duvernay and Proche are good options as a 2 and 3 then you are a blatant homer.

You don't have to know him as a WR, but you should know him as a player.

He hasn't been a primary WR for us because we've had better guys in front of him for 2 years now, but he's been a very important piece of our gadget/jet sweep/screen plays on offense.

If you have not heard of Devin Duvernay, that's a YOU problem tbh. I understand not knowing about James Proche but Duvernay is pretty well established on our team as a return Pro Bowler and #3 WR.

Additionally, the Ravens will undoubtedly look to add a WR today and then probably also add another vet in FA.

Welcome to the club. The media has been telling fans that WR's are like the 3rd most important position on the football field for years and that you're doomed without them. No regards for your QB or scheme, just need 3 big time WR's or your offense will fail.

The Ravens have a big OL, getting Dobbins back and have a QB that's more a freak athlete than 99% of the players in the league. Their offense wins with the run threat, play action and misdirection. They can grind on you and also get athletes in space. They'll be just fine.

I think every one recognizes the importance of QB play and scheme, despite your false narrative.

Most also recognize that Lamar's arm has not shown to be good enough to take low tier WRs and elevate them.

Lamar was the second player ever to win unanimous MVP and he had Seth Roberts as a starting WR and Willie Snead led the team in WR snaps by a 10% margin. Hayden Hurst (at TE) was the last guy who asked for and was granted a trade for better opportunities elsewhere. How has it gone for any of them?

Maybe the talent is what the talent is, because that is what the data says to this point.

Those 5 picks alone set the Raiders back probably an entire decade to be honest. How you miss on FIVE STRAIGHT 1st round picks in 2 drafts is beyond me.

....have you not heard of the legend of Mr. Leatherwood?????

It's 3 straight drafts lol

--TEs tend to work out but it's such a small sample size. Most teams tend to wait until after the 1st rd.

--DBs/DTs/Ts are safe bets.

--LBs are okay for the most part.

--QB/DE/WR/G/C are almost coin flips.

--To nobody's surprise, most RBs don't have much luck.
