You still get three years of playable time on a rookie contract, and you allow yourself to get better players for it. I really actually want to take Malik Willis now. Trade up to 32. We trade back out of the 1st, pick up more picks and baring a trade there is no team between now and our next pick that would be looking to draft a QB.
