This was a procedural move that gives Fiege the recognition and pay raise he deserves after his work with the MCU. With the Disney+ shows tying so heavily with the movies he HAD to be involved with them. Also while Natalie Portman is good and all ,how exactly are they going to explain the hammer getting remade if that is how she becomes Thor?
