Washington's passing offense against Baltimore's passing defense might be one of the greatest disparity matchups we've seen recently, considering WAS is on a historically great pace and BAL's pass defense is on a historically awful pace.

49ers are getting to the red zone on nearly 50% of their drives....and only getting touchdowns in the redzone at 41% of the time. In goal to go situations, they are only scoring TDs 50% of the time.

That's hard to do

They are bad, but I'm not even sure it would be a bottom-3 pass defense this season, much less historically awful.  For comparison, despite being one of the least thrown-against teams in the league (7th in pass attempts by the opposition), the Panthers are 21st in yards allowed and 31st in passing TDs allowed.

Also 27th in rush yards allowed and 32nd in rush TDs allowed. Big yikes.

Our Run Def is #1 in the league, but pass def is 32nd in the league. I haven't looked at all of the metrics (yards per play, yards/game, td's/game, etc.), but we've had one good game (BUF) and 4 bad games (KC, CIN, DAL, LVR).

Idk what other teams could possibly be worse at this point specifically with defending the pass.
