Love the idea of two weapons at the position like when patriots had gronk and Hernandez. My guess is that it will be a target in free agency, not so much the draft. Tight end is notoriously a position that takes some time to develop, so I would assume if this team wants an immediate boost next year, they will look at free agency. Steve_DeBerg_Fan_420 Posted September 18, 2022 Share Posted September 18, 2022 The problem with trying to replace kittle is you can either find a guy that blocks like kittle, or a guy that can affect the passing game like kittle, but it is nearly impossible to find a guy who can do both. I'm not gonna call this game a "must win," but this is certainly not a regular week 2 game. Winning this week solves a lot of problems, but a loss today compounds the distraction issues the team has.
